I adore fluffy cats. This is the fourth painting in my series animals and the furniture they own.  This sweet calico does not let the fact that she's a bit plus-sized keep her from parking on her antique foyer table.  She is posted to watch the comings and goings.  Sometimes a little nap interferes with her guard duties.

I am a furniture devotee-especially chairs and sofas.  And I love animals.  I am intrigued with the soulful faces of dogs.  Isn't it amusing how animals take possession of a piece of furniture?  Their body language screams, "don't even think about moving me!"
